About the role

The Professional Services team is right at the core of Arbolus and is responsible for providing best-in-class service to our clients around the world.

As a Team Lead in the Professional Services team, you will oversee a high-performing Team of associates and senior associates dedicated to our Consulting clients. You will be responsible for driving the delivery of complex expert networking requests, ensuring your team maintains the speed and precision that strategy consultants demand.

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, mentoring your team to help them recruit thought leaders and establish connections that help Arbolus clients make well-informed business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Associates/Senior Associates, with day-to-day responsibility for their performance, workflow, and professional growth.

• Build and develop relationships with Arbolus’ Management Consulting clients through strategic project execution, user relationship management and high-level account management support.

• Execute and run client projects, ensuring quality, accuracy and outcomes.

• Balance multiple, concurrent, time-sensitive research requests across your team.

• Ensure the sourcing and recruitment of leading experts, guiding the team on creative research and networking strategies for niche briefs.

• Ensure rigorous screening of experts to meet the high standards of top-tier consulting firms.

• Develop relationships with thought leaders and experts across a variety of industries to lead by example.

• Close collaboration with the Professional Services Director and other Team Leads across international offices to align on global strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience within the Expert Network industry.

• Strong academic background: Finance, Business, HR, Research, Economics.

• Proven experience managing direct reports or leading a team/pod

• A proven track record of working with Management Consulting clients and understanding their unique project requirements with an emphasis on CDD cases.

• Experience in ownership of a book of business

• A proven entrepreneurial/commercial drive.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

• Experience/Confidence in cold outreach and outbound calls.

• Native level of English; any other European language is a plus.

• Previous experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment.

• Deeply familiar with the expert-networking industry landscape.

• Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn.
