About the role
We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead the financial operations of our Indian entity and provide strategic support to other entities within our global group. This role is critical to the ongoing growth and success of our organisation, and requires deep expertise in international accounting standards, financial management, and scalable processes that support both local and global business expansion.
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance, compliance, and reporting across multiple entities. You will manage the day-to-day accounting, ensure strict adherence to statutory regulations, maintain robust internal controls, and provide high-level financial insights to inform strategic decision-making. This role requires collaboration across teams, and a proactive approach to driving financial excellence and scalability.
Key responsibilities you will be in charge of:
Manage the accounting and financial operations, including bookkeeping, ledger management, and reconciliations.
Liaise with third-party accountants to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, including tax filings, VAT, and annual audits.
Oversee internal and external financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Process month-end and year-end close.
Finance Mailbox support: Answer supplier & client queries or redirect to the appropriate contact.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support management decision-making.
Implement and maintain internal controls across financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in accordance with the rest of the entities.
Partner with the global finance team on treasury and cash flow management.
Support other entities within the group with financial operations as needed.
Implement best practices for scalability by establishing processes that support both local and global growth initiatives.
Coordinate with finance counterparts across entities to standardize practices and share insights.
Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.
Other ad hoc tasks & data analysis.
What We Are Looking ForMinimum 5-7 years of experience in finance, preferably in a multinational professional services organisation.
Foundational knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
Experience managing statutory compliance, including VAT, tax filings, and audits in India.
Familiarity with multi-entity and multi-currency financial operations.
Degree or certification in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; chartered accountancy or master’s preferred, though not mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
Knowledge of accounting software (Xero preferred but not essential).
Experience with financial technology solutions, including ERP systems or data visualisation tools, to support a global and scalable finance function.
Understanding of change management principles to support potential restructuring or scaling of financial operations.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Works well in a team.
