About the role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will be the driving force behind our top-of-funnel growth, acting as the first point of contact between Arbolus and key decision-makers in Private Equity and Consulting. We are not looking for years of experience, we value the right mindset, hunger to learn, and drive to succeed above all.
In the commercial team, we rely heavily on strategic research, clear communication, and modern sales technology. You will leverage cold calling, tailored emails, and AI tools in your day-to-day workflow, with a strong emphasis on cross-team collaboration and a growth focused approach.

Key responsibilities you will be in charge of
Prospecting & Research: Confidently identify and map target accounts and key stakeholders. Apply a strategic, investigative mindset to uncover the best angles for outreach.
Outbound Communication: Execute high-volume, high-quality cold outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn. Communicate with exceptional clarity to capture attention and articulate Arbolus’s value proposition.
Pipeline Generation: Qualify outbound leads and successfully book initial discovery meetings for the senior sales team, ensuring a consistent pipeline of opportunities.
Leveraging AI & Sales Tech: Use modern AI tools and sales platforms daily to maximize efficiency, personalize outreach at scale, and maintain a strong bias toward action.
Cross-collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Tech, and Marketing teams to share feedback, optimize the product, and improve overall sales strategy.
Requirements to succeed in this role
Recent university graduate or professional with little experience looking to launch a fast-paced career in B2B sales.
Speak English fluently and communicate with clarity and confidence.
Bring a proactive, hungry mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow fast, and smash targets.
Own the process from your first cold call to measuring campaign success.
Listen actively, understand deeply, and capture attention quickly through clear verbal and written communication.
Approach research and prospecting with curiosity, organization, and an open mind
Act with efficiency and resourcefulness; find smart shortcuts, leverage AI tools, and get more done in less time.
Stay resilient and maintain a positive attitude when facing rejection or navigating tough conversations.
Nice to have
Previous internship or exposure to a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment.
Basic understanding of the Private Equity and Consulting world
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot) or sales engagement tools.
Fluency in a second European language.
